Come To Me

A vision it comes in color and sound

It happens all the time,

Whether at home or in town.

Like water with ice on a hot summer’s day

It soothes my soul, and moistens the clay.

For to create from nothing the song of my soul

A powerful force, a balm for the toll.

I shall rise to the task, with hope unrelenting

Till my craft is perfected to the world it’s presenting.
