Come Now

Come now,

don't cry.

I can't be there to wipe your tears tonight.

Come now,

the angels are calling,

my halo is wading.

Come now,

don't go breaking,

the inevitable is waiting,

this may not be our last goodbye.

Come now,

child,

look me in the eye,

I promise this won't be our last goodbye.
