Come Together

We came together to fight wars for our freedom;

We came together to become a strong nation;

We came together to give everyone equal rights;

We came together to support our neighbors during rough times;

We came together to keep our flag off the ground;

We came together to live the American Dream ;

We came together to support the lost lives of those who have died;

But why haven't we come together to end hunger in our own nation?

Why haven't we come together to help the poor ?

Why haven't we come together to show the world that we are unstoppable ?

Why haven't we come together to live life like we should?

Why haven't we come together as one?
