Come as you are

I am far from perfect Indeed, I am restless I did things that led me to sin And left me so unclean But yet God said,"Come as you are" "And let me heal your scars" I voluntarily accepted him But then within months, my light grew dim I never served him right So little by little, I left his sight But then I cried helplessly on the floor And heard a voice say "Do not cry anymore" "Daughter, come as you are" "Accept me, for I love u with all my heart" After He said that, I heard angels singing hymns Rejoicing, praising God, and worshipping him "Come as you are" He said And my child, have no fear
