Comfort
There are many ways to find comfort in this world.
But sometimes you can’t find it so you lay in a ball tightly curled.
Comfort can be in the form of a blanket,
Or maybe just knowing that you aren’t alone on this planet.
Sometimes comfort just can’t be reached,
And no one hears you no matter how loud you have screeched.
There will come a time when you become comfortable with the way you are;
And you will be the one to raise the bar.
So that no one can bring you down,
Or ever knock off your crown.
You will never again need to seek comfort from others.
You won’t need any sisters or brothers.
You will find comfort in yourself;
And with that, you will gain emotional wealth.
