From the Comfort of My Screen

Watching through the comfort of my screen,

a chracter is laid bare before the audience.

Tears stream down their face,

as do mine.

Yet in that moment of greatest suffering,

of endless and dark pit of unimaginable grief and despair,

they make the decision,

to reach out for the light that connects humanity.

The light that drives one to take another's vulnerable soul,

and fill it with kindness.

Watching throught the comfort of my screen,

I watch a character inspire me,

To be whole, and happy,

No matter what the circumstances may be.
