Comfort, Pain, Ceases in Snow, Rain. (Can't Live Without It)

she was always fine
but looked incredibly right
dressed in white

she was a tough girl mean girl
wouldn’t bend
for anyone
lean girl lithe girl
caught their attention caught their eye

and she was
out there in the cold
begging for some life
couldn’t hear a word
through the night
out there in the snow
what a sight
she might
go to reykjavik tonight

she always walked the line
divergent and bright
dressed in light

she was a loved girl dear girl
wouldn’t quit
on anyone
strong girl brave girl
caught in demise

she liked it raining, pouring
it was clearing, it was boring
she liked it screaming, crying
it was flaking, it was dying

she might
stay out there in the cold
learning to get by
listening for a word
through the night
out there in the snow
what a fight
she might
go to reykjavik tonight.
