Coming to an END...

I think about these things briefly

It is very fuzzy, but somehow crystal clear.

It seems like only yesterday

That I just came here.

What is happening

Where did the time wind up?

Four years at this school just feel like enough.

I've walked these halls for months now

And I'm just now starting to see

Last years class is gone

Up next would be me.

Why is this happening

Where has everyone gone?

High school went by so fast

 It didn't take very long.

My friends are so excited

They are moving to different places

But what I will miss most

Is seeing all of their faces.

I grew up with these people

This one huge group of friends

But what my conscience says is this

All good things must come to an end.

I refuse to believe this!

It's all just a dream

But when I realize it's not

I just want to SCREAM!!!!

I can't change the future

And I can't change the past

The only thing to do is enjoy this while it lasts..

We have less than month left

I think about this again and again

I wake up every morning

Knowing things are coming to an END....
