I hide within the crowd, and people always find their way to step on me. People only notice me when they need something or when they’re specifically looking for me. Steadily trying to pluck me from my roots, but I won’t allow it and I will stand strong! They will miss me when I’m gone, because I can’t allow myself to continually be mistreated. The people whom I call “friends” only see me when they want to. Coming to me with advice as if I’m Dr. Phil and get upset when I tell them something they aren’t prepared for. I am a four leaf clover...NOT a yes man. So next time they see me, I’m just going to blend in with the crowd and let them learn as they’re swept up by the wind. If I’m removed from my roots I hope it’s by the right person because I’m too unique for foolishness.
