Commodity

Dear heartbreaker,

Although we are still together,

you broke my heart.

The changes started

and they left me broken hearted.

First, I noticed you became less excited to see me.

Second, you seemed less interested

Therefore, I just had to know, so I asked,

I asked you if you still liked me

and you said "you were used to me".

How can you be used to someone you love?

I guess that what happens.

I guess I am a commodity in your eyes.

However, you are wrong, oh so wrong.

You will never find another brown eyed girl with wings on her ankles,

or a wildflower on her ribcage.

You will never find a girl with the same scars that I have.

You will never find a girl with the same freckle under her right eye like I have.

I know my worth

I am priceless.
