Common Ground

A gossamer glance glares through the glass

Now war is waged and this wrath rages

Through your window soul

Seems like now you have set up your wall

Your ivory tower, this Babel soars higher

Burn me down, break up the brands

So cold it will burn your hands

Once over a bower, full-bloomed with fate's flower

A tempest trance snares you in mass

No more are the sacred, the sage's page, plundered for power

Maybe I know, maybe your right

Maybe it's fact, maybe it's flaw

Perhaps we can till together

Such few sound common ground

Perhaps we can till forever

Some new found common ground

Give rise to a new shame, a new flame

Come gather round some common ground
