Communicate!

If there’s one thing I could share

So the world would understand and improve on,

It’s that communication is much to bare

And is something everyone should work on.

Too often conversations come across all wrong

And we are quick to find someone to put the blame on,

But if we just take a second to stop and listen

We might find some truth to take into consideration.

With the technology today, it is hard to express emotion

That’s why it’s critical to have discussions in person

To avoid upsetting the other party,

So set this rule of thumb into motion.

Life is much too short to spend any of it angry,

Which is why we need to focus our energy,

On how and what we intend to say.

Imagine a world of peace

And think of how we could get there,

I’m sure everyone would love a piece;

So just add some understanding next time you communicate.
