Communicate and Understand

I despised when my mother and father

See me upset

And think that I am having a bad attitude

So I am ignored for the rest of the night

The next day they have a sad look

They smother me with hugs

I realize they only wanted me to stop being sad

To help me feel better

Even though they did not know how

To stop the tears

I now know that they will always love me

How important family is

To communicate with them

And understand each other

So we can always be happy
