Community

A community.

Or so they tell us.

A community of learners.

Learners and friends.

We talk,

We joke,

It may seem like a community.

On the outside.

Hidden pain.

Death and hate behind the smile we present to others.

We can't let anyone in.

What if they see who we really are?

What if they see the death and hate?

A community.

Or so they tell us.

A community of learners.

Learners and friends.

Large schools are great for football,

For music.

But are they so great for community?

Real community?

What if it's all fake?

What if we live like we're famous actors and actresses,

Seperated by a curtain from the real world?

From our friends?

From our teachers?

A community.

Or so they tell us.

A community of learners.

Learners and friends.

But what if they're wrong?
