Companion

Alone on an island

Now what would I do?

Would I long for a companion?

Or what I long for some food?

Food would only last

for a matter of time.

Love companionship would give me

a friend for a lifetime.

Hunger can be filled

in a number of ways.

but loneliness can drive

a person insane.

A friend can help me

search for shelter and food

and together we can create

a world that is good.
