The Company of the World

So many people live

Yet lonliness overtakes many.

People live with greed

and gain materilistic items

but deep down there is an idea,

An idea that we don't want to live without.

The idea of being with another.

A spouse, a friend, a companion.

A loved one, or one from above.

There are many to choose from

but it is lacked.

We have company in the world

whether we see it or not.

Connection, love, understanding one another

that is what this world cannot live without

for hard times come and those who feel weak,

need strength.

Hardships are overcome for those who feel the strength around them,

physically, emotionally, and mentally.

The idea of having someone beside you,

Companionship,

Love,

That is the key that one shall always live with.
