¹² For we would not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who recommend themselves.

But when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.

“Compare yourselves among yourselves”, yes that is a good one.

Setting standards in the dark only others can see.

Is it any wonder that this is done by the lost ones?

Who in their struggle for satisfaction never grow past their “me”?

“Compare themselves among themselves”, it sounds so religious.

Something that has depth to it but is just below the surface

Intellectual acceptance in comparison with the malicious

and so to come out satisfied in their self-chosen purpose.
