Comparing Apples to Oranges

Pass me an orange

a slice of the East,

Imperialism?

not in the least.

Pass me an apple

rooted in the West,

Expansionism?

might not be best.

That’s comparing apples to oranges

opposite and not the same.

Yet while we discuss fruits of labor

aren't they then alike? Insane.
