Comparison

the sky and i are alike you know,

we burn shades of red 

and shades of blue

with purples in between

thoughts are unclear 

like the moon and the stars

hidden from view

polluted with darkness

hiding the beauty and brightness of the sky 

there are places you can go

away from the bustles of life

where the sky becomes clear again

the sun shines

flowers bloom beneath it

& all is well
