Compassionate Eyes

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,

Behold the eyes that inward look.

People run in front of me,

While I run thoughts about them.

You ask me of my beauty,

What comes to my mind first,

Is the ability to love another,

Without using fancy words.

A look of  appreciation,

or a simple gaze of love.

We can look at them for who they are,

With help from Him above.

I can show compassion,

That is my greatest trait.

Founded in my eyes,

The opportunity for love, awaits.
