Compensate

I’m not trying to compensate

all I do is from my heart

I do want to climb that mountain

with the little light

so by chance I can see where mine leads me

no, I’m not compensating for anything I truly do care

I hate seeing people sad, and

even myself so, can we just laugh for another day
