Complete Your Role

Charm is deceptive, beauty's fleeting

So the story goes

Wrong direction, has my heart beating

And no one knows

The well worn path presented before

The bright, red apple stikcing out as a lure

One bite could lead straight to slumber

Until one is awoken by vicious thunder

A modern world presented to me

Change is what I wish to see

Hope is what perches in my soul

I will play my part, I will complete my role
