Completely Organic Being

They all have expectations.

Of what we’re supposed to be,

And even some accusations.

Of who is actually me.

Occasionally I have strange allegations,

Or is it just my final plea?

All of us have our own aspirations,

Of what I means to be free,

Including our own destinations.

But I am here to make my decree.

It is meant to stay for generations,

To say who is actually me.

I am a human being

Not a chemically made mistake

Sometime I can’t help but to stop fleeing

I just get so sick of feeling the dull ache

It will always be there guaranteeing

And I tell myself I could always take a tea break

But I guess I just needed to learn to stop agreeing

And to just take that chance and step out into the lake.

But the thing is, I love having my own soul

Even if its not meant to remain

I probably just love the feeling of being whole

I don’t care if I’m acting vein

Because I am not just some console

With a battery meant for you to drain

I will be in control

Its my own life, not yours to have slain

I am not something you can just steam roll.

Never did I guarantee to be sane,

And my life might be a black hole

But at least my shell is meant to remain

This might be long and drawn out

But that is what I am

I will always have some doubt

And have some trouble with exams

My words have no filter and simply spout

But my emotions build up as if behind a dam

Yet my heart still feels like it has a small sprout

And when that dam breaks it feels like I’ve been hit… WHAM

Then suddenly the thing that has taken root is out of the drought

And I’m swimming, swimming, swimming, because that’s just who I am

I am always prepared like a boy scout

Because I am what I am
