Complex Love

You see my love for you isn’t based on a day

Not things that you say

Not the food that you make

But for whom you are

It might be very hard

To believe that

And I know that you see that

This four-letter word love

Stands for so much for being so little

From when you make me smile and my skin gets tiny ripples

To you playing with my dimples

Love is so complex but for us why is it so simple

Its how you make me feel as a man

When days I cant wake up, can’t think, can’t go on

You stand by my side and push me

And ill do the same for because with a relationship it takes both of us

And with a healthy relationship you can’t rush

The love, friendship and trust

For love isn’t lust and lust isn’t love

Everyday I fall more in love with you

I hate to say goodnight

but I to dream

I dream of you about everything

the way you laugh the way you are

to our late night calls

to our jamming out in the car

don't go please don't leave

You are my everything my sun and my life

Ill fight for you until my last breath

You are everything I have left

I can’t lose you

I just can’t

Because I love you
