The Complexity of Love
Love is more complex than a never ending puzzle
Where its power is stronger than the brightness of the sun
and where its purity is as clear as the shade of transparency
When in reality the idea of love flows in a myriad of aspects
But here's what love is not
Love is not something achieved, not something that is caught
Love is not mortal and not something left away to rot
Love is not considered a stain that is marked and seeped in to blot
One's heart and mind, which leaves us to a thought
Of the true meaning of love and how it is so strong
How love is easily attained but not easily prolonged
How love is an aspect that manages to string along
How love is just a feeling but is more lyrical than a song
Love is noticing the light where there is dark
The feeling of relief and rejoice as the free fall of a lark
Lifting the cloth before knowing what is under
The sun along the moon, and the lightning with the thunder
Love is not picking up someone up even if they drop
Love is teaching them to rise so that their motives never stop
Love is not limited to one group or one kind
It is the conceptual feeling of living created in one's mind
Where there's no need to rewind due to the immortality of time
Where is there no necessity for words to express your self, as evident as a mime
So love, a word that augments out of this world
Where the knot of limitations and opinions must soon be uncurled
Into an infinity of petals
One by one flowing down from above
Different for all, but to me, that is the true meaning of love.
