Complications

Everyone has met a couple

Who just aren’t good for eachother

That yell and scream

And say mean things to one another

To the point of no return

So we all judge

But they just won’t budge

And so there are so many who have an opinion

And yet, no one asks them why they stay

Why stay in a relationship that only breaks you down

Knowing in the end that you will be hurt and heart broken

Why stay if you know that person doesn’t have it in them to change who they are

And if they do, why don’t they?

But when you ask these things, they simply don’t know the answer

Or if they do, they have an answer that is different every time

One day it’s because they love them

The next it’s because they can’t see a life without them

When in the end, the relationship itself is ruining them both

And they don’t even realize it

Sounds stupid and ridiculous to the individuals who are looking from the outside in

But they’re not suppose to understand the relationship in which they aren’t in
