Complying
The pain we all feel deep inside
The pain that forces us to comply
Without truly showing who you are
Your soul and will moving far
Away from you
It's not useless
‘Cause everything you do is never enough
Even if it takes your every last breath
It always seems wrong
I don't even know where I belong
Anymore
The chill you feel in the very core
Of your being
Overfilling
Their ill wills
Put up your smile
Nobody knows that vile
Piece of your mind
A piece they'll never find
Buried deep inside
Still forcing you to comply
It makes us all wonder
What it's raging under
Your searing skin
You think they see the sin
You so carefully hidden
But across your heart it's written
In bold words, shielding
From the unyielding
Judging eyes
And you cry
But no one hears
And you fear
Your very own existence
And you put distance
Between the ones
That make a want to run
Away from this world
On you bed, you are curled
Up in a ball
Allowing the tears to fall
Not bothering to wipe them at all
They track your cheeks
And your mind seeks
For the answers it so
desperately needs
Your heart and soul feed
On your dying will
And you can't find anything that will
Fill the empty void in ur chest
And u put up that smile for the best
But there is nothing you gain
From the agonizing pain
Inside
That forced you to comply
