Once upon a time,
I had felt a rhyme.
When I feel I’m behind,
should I express my mind?

When a bird falls,
it knows to fly.
Without it’s mom’s calls,
it soars to the sky.

Men will stray as they stride.
And men can never fly,
for our minds weigh us down--
Birds lack what makes us frown.

The bird’s life, majestic.
free to soar through the world.
Mankind’s life, poetic,
into thoughts we are hurled.
