Compromise
Etched in stone is one facet of life
While another lies waiting and willing to thrive.
The career that cannot now be changed
Is a fine endeavor not to be wasted.
The career that causes the most strife
Is the one which would also bring the most joy.
Perhaps there is a way to do them both
And make my life an amazing time.
