Computer Daydream

If  I could live my life for just a day

Where no-one swtched me on

Where no-one pressed my buttons

My woes and cares would be gone

Instead I have my keys pressed

Each and every day

By folk who while away their time

At home or on a lazy day

I'm getting sort of tired y'know

Hard drive gettng full

Memory full of this and that

Sinking further still

No-one cares to clean my screen

Fingerprints it sports

Needs a general good old wipe

Just my personal thoughts

Please give me this break I need so much

Please look after me

I know you need me badly

'Tis so plain to see

But instead of using word

To write yourself a note

Please just look for paper

To pen your daily quote
