Computer Says "No"

Yesterday I believed that I could be.

I hadn't heard that for awhile.

Today, the thought still hangs in my head,

Searching for a place to stay.

I wonder what other idea will have to pay.

That's the way things go in my mind.

It's full to bursting on the best of days.

On harder days it is rare to see a space.

"No room at the inn," as my teachers would say.

I wonder what thoughts will have to pay.

I sit there and listen. I absorb what I can.

What do you do when your hardrive is full?

Can I upgrade as quick as my phone?

"Computer says 'No'", as Tina would say.

Guess I must choose what concepts must pay.

I pull out a pen, find a page with some room,

And scour my mind for a sign, or lackthereof really.

I write the thoughts I am afraid to lose.

"Mark my words" as my boss would say,

Because I simply can't decide which thoughts should pay.
