The concept of dreams

When I was young I was given everything

I thought that even though things don’t come for free

They’d still be cheap

As I got older I realized

That nothing is ever black and white

Life is full of color once you open your eyes

Whether it was being treated unfairly or enduring popularity

I’ve been through the highs and the lows

Now that I’m older I know

That I can go as far as my heart goes

Sure dreams aren’t cheap and they won’t come for free

But they’ll come to me

If I work hard and believe
