Concert Living

It’s been a year,

a year since I’ve been to a concert.

The remarkably live music.

I miss standing with a crowd,

jumping up and down to the beat.

Singing along with the vocalist that inspired us all.

All who mosh.

I miss the blood rushing through my veins,

every time a breakdown came into play.

Then at the end,

Waiting for that moment to meet that special band that was on stage.

Being able to say, “I went and met these guys in concert. It was unbelievably amazing.”

My chance will come,

to be able to live this moment once again.
