Concise
It's interesting how our friendship can form from a simple word: hello.
The beauty of an invitation that a smile can give is a mystery.
It ingnites chills and wonder into my brain and it starts to anaylze.
My heart starts to feel as if it can fly and soar free when the two collide;
your words of hello and the invitation of your smile.
Along the way I got to hear your angelic voice.
The way you sing as you strum your guitar.
The way your laughter dominates and change the whole atmosphere.
As the years passed, simple words no longer crossed us.
How's your heart today? This become our hello.
Little did we know, our friendship got deep.
Somewhere along the line, thoughts started to sneak in.
I didn't realize how my mind started to revolve around your well-being.
I didn't realize how my mind thought about more of me and you.
Together.
Somewhere along the line, your simple hello was replaced.
The game of what ifs entered.
A game that was bound to make me lose every time.
The imagination of us, the story of us, and the future of us.
Together.
But somewhere along the lines, your words simply became silent.
Attached here I was, of all the memories and the laughter.
Yet, you left with no goodbye, but a see you later.
Of and on, you'd occasionally say hello.
Abruptly, you left me with memories and deep moments.
When words weres concise, life was better.
You tangled me into an attachments of what ifs, trapped in my own thoughts.
Unrequited love.
