Condensation

A warm breath fogs the glass window

Tiny toes remain cold

Wet socks from the snow

A blanket covering the lap

of a boy in a car seat

Outside of the car

Is the road, he has known

The road that leads home

His mom and dad

In the seats

In the front

Light music on the radio

The faint scent of pine trees

He turns his head

and exhales

it warms the window

The window becomes clear

With a drop of water running down

Just like a tear
