Conductor
A mission, a venture, a task to complete
Not to meet, but to reach above the level at which you compete.
Gear up for the storm, ready yourself for tension
For the surges will fight to leave you hopeless and hollow.
Your breastplate your gauntlets, put them on! and gird your loins
For the battlefront is in the mind, and likewise shall the body follow.
And it’s done to maintain the same gains.
To legitimize the reason for these proclaimed pains.
To keep the competition in sight, for I am the conductor and this is my game train.
Consuming only the ripest from the vineyard of determination
For to reach a level above you must use a deeper strength sensation.
Sweating seas in seconds, and showers in hours.
The work is endless yet it must be done.
Barriers of old are shattered to reach new heights,
Lifting one bar then two bars, missing five shots now only one.
And it’s done to maintain the same gains.
To legitimize the reason for these proclaimed pains.
To keep the competition in sight, for I am the conductor and this is my game train.
The knowledge of a trade is the linchpin of all victory;
Comprehension, not to mention the need of autonomous ability.
Soon minutes pass in seconds and sense of time becomes ill,
But desire flows in its own realm with no limits to withhold.
A realm where fervor awakens fruitions dreamt in fantasy.
Sharpening my skills, and showing new ones to behold.
And it’s done to maintain the same gains.
To remain on the same plane would show that ability has waned.
To legitimize the reason for these proclaimed pains.
Train, train, and train, non-stop, for I want something truly insane.
To keep the competition in sight, for I am the conductor and this is my game train.
