A Confessional For The Future
An unfamiliar touch;
An unknown glance;
The air of romance never swallowed.
How can a Vessel of light and love be
Met with such pure and unfiltered darkness?
What is the validity of these Loves?
Show the nutrition facts of a human heart.
Teach me why I'm deficient in vitamin you
And why my soul was chosen
For decimation.
Who are you and why do you torture me so?
Prancing and pricking and sticking
Pins in my heart to be mistaken
As the pangs of emotion for another soul.
How has my entire life culminated to this
This moment in which I couldn't tell you
What the breath of another tastes like?
I have not the slightest clue what
The delicate tissue of Heartstrings
Has to teach the soul.
Where in my corpse have I damned myself
To a loveless life?
An endless cycle of lustful acquisition meets
A manifestation of maneuvering misinterpretations.
My love, there is nothing truer than your perfection.
There is nothing more false than my inadequacy.
I am in love with the farthest stardust, with you, and with all things in between.
Who will you be?
