Confessions of Depression

The sky is black,

I lack so much potential.

I take one step back

I SCREAM, no one seems to notice

It is more than I can bare,

Im trapped.

The sky is blue,

I feel brand new.

A fresh start over

is all I needed and more.

Light in the world today

refelcts in the depths of my pupils

It shines so brightly

stetching, I reach for it

life starts to better.

The relentless ache has returned

Bittersweet tears  run down my face

I can feel life fading

I succumb to the darkness

regret taunts me

I have nowhere to hide.

The grass a shade of brighness

the sun a symbol of hope

This world is greater then I

for I am just one person

and peace lies within
