Confidant

Lead.

To lead and to guide

To show and experience and be the light

Taken under your wing I am thrown

into a new, alien world in which

everything screams 'opportunity'

You show through trial and error I can be like you

you show that with gumph and patience

dreams aren't dreams

but realities.

Things that those people of past told me weren't possible

you showed me, that with hope and a lot of learning

nothing becomes impossible but

everything opens their doors to me.

you are my mentor, the person who teaches

who guides, the one I lean towards that shows me how to survive.

thank you, mentor, counselor, confidant.
