Confidence

Why would I want to be someone else

When I can be better by being myself

Why be someone I'm not

When I am what they haven't got

I lack self-esteem

And haveing confidence is only a dream

If only I could be better

But I'm not really a "Go-Getter"

I'm burdened by the heart I bear

But I will not dipair

If I dare to come to the Almighty

Thou will pardon me

I am prone to sin

But He will give me streght within

I need not fear my foes

I need not sink beneath my woes

I need not yeild to care

For He will answer my prayer

If I give myslef to Thee

My God will cherish me
