Confident Blossom

it was blossom of spring

a spring in my step

a beautiful flower rising

up from the broken dirt

the blossoming of new

found and new born life

the life of a girl who used

to weep into her pillow

she weeps no more

for now she has blossomed

radiant as the sun and

the light of her own life

she is confident

and she is happy
