Confidentaly Beautiful

I thought that you were perfect

I thought that you were mine

When really I was just kinda outta my mind

You promised me a fairytale

You promised me a family

You almost made it sound like a goddamn reality

And i thought I found a guy who wouldn’t leave

But i guess i was wrong when you said goodbye

You said that i was beautiful even said that i was cool

Promised me a ring and almost made me feel like a queen

Then you say i cheated when it was really you

You dont got evidence or even some proof

And now i dont care what you even do

Just back off and let me tell you

Ive grown determined

Ive grown strong

Beautiful and confident just like my mom

And i think its with you where ive gone wrong

To understand that that took me pretty long

Then you told me you loved me

Then you told me you cared

And asked to be friends just to be fair

But now i dont need you

Now i dont care

Whether you protect me

Whether you stare

You tried to mess with my friend

You tried to mess with me

You thought that you were better

Thought that you were king

But you just have to step down and notice the reality

That the past is the past

And i could care less whoever you dump or whoever you kiss

But its not you that i really truly miss

Its just the things that you did that made me feel bliss

Playing a girl like you did to me

I guess it gives you some kind of tranquility
