The Confinement and Imprisonment of Anxiety and Panic Attacks
As I sit alone in my room, my mind races at the speed of light, praying, thinking, wondering, is there any hope for me? Will I ever be free from this invisible cell of horror, or will I be forever tormented by these feelings of hopelessness and fear. Does anyone know? Can anyone begin to understand? Can you hear me as I scream to the top of my lungs? Please Help me!! The heat of this room is overwhelming. Will I be left here to burn? To smolder into nothingness? Have I somehow left this earth only to land in Hades to face the enemy that already shadows my every move? The garments that are gracing my frame morphs into these angry restraints that must be removed and removed now. This thing in my chest that beats in a rhythmic now-now time signature, pounds as if it wants out of me. As if, somehow, it is afraid of me! How do I slow it down? How do I comfort it? Do I try to catch up to it? Or do I just lay down until it pounds no more, until it beats into this welcoming nothingness of me. Help me! Rescue me from this torment! Rescue me from this something!!! This something that is truly…..Nothing.
