Conflicted Heart

I know I’m not the only one for you

The love you have for her tears me in half

Can you love me like the one you once knew?

You hide your love for her on my behalf

See my gaze upon your conflicted heart,

The love you need is right in front of thee

A new relationship we can kick start

Tell her to go away so we can be

Is our love tainted or meant to be great?

Is our fated love worth the screaming pain?

Have you changed your endearing mind’s debate?

Tell me my love hasn’t been seen in vain

Your feelings for me have grown a bit more?

How lovely, my heart is no longer sore
