Conformity

People watching in a store,

The youth is drained from  their limbs,

They hurry by forevermore,

Will they ever rise again?

In a passionate burst,

I ask a passerby,

"Where is your vitality?"

He stops to stare then presumes to ignores me,

And joins the the single, gray robot called Society.
