Conformity

I like to be silly.

"You're so stupid.

You're too loud.

Do you ever shut up?"

I stop talking so much.

I don't care about how I look.

"You're legs are hairy.

You have a unibrow!

You're so ugly."

I start shaving.

I love food.

"You're getting fat.

We can't afford so much food!

Suck in, this is a nice picture."

I eat less.

I'm proud to be myself.

"You're so ugly.

Nobody likes you!

You have no friends."

Forget you then.

I'll play by myself,

And write my stories,

and make up my own games.

But will someone please be my friend?
