Confused.

First day of class Stand and say your name But how can I simple say a name when the ones around me call me so much more Fag, gay, disgusting Time after time The names become familiar And you wonder - are those my names? Should I stand tall and say fag When that's all the peers see? How do I know who I am When the ones around make fun Do they see the pain it causes me Do they wonder? Do I call them mean, nasty, and cruel? Is that the name they are given? Do any of us truly have a name? Why so much hate and confusion. I wish I knew, I wish. Confused.
