Confused

Love:

four letters,

a million meanings.

Gender:

male,

female,

intersex,

nonbinary.

Race:

Caucasian,

African American,

Asian,

Indian,

Native American,

Mixed Race.

Sexuality:

Heterosexual,

Homosexual,

Bisexual,

Pansexual,

Asexual,

Transsexual.

Labels,

all of them.

Why is it never enough to just be a person?

Names,

derogatory slang,

bashing,

hatred,

all of it so prevalent.

No-one can ever just care for someone,

oh, no there must be ulterior motive.

Sick,

all I see is division,

never unity, always some unspoken animosity.

Enough,

this must end.

The world is exponentially diverse,

let it show.

Love,

four letters,

a million interpretations.
