Confused

I'm 13, white, a girl

I can't walk alone at night

I am scared when I am around older men

I worry about covering up around any male

Everyday

you hear a new story about assualt

Some guy getting away with it

as always

Why is it like this?

Mom, Dad?

Was it like this when you were a kid?

Why do I have to live in fear about being raped

This needs to be fixed.
