Confused

Whenever I think about my dreams

I get scared

There are so many things that I want to do

But I feel like time is running out

There are so many things that we have to do

Before we can reach our dreams

But I feel like I’m drowning with every step I take

My dreams are a locked door

And I feel like I’ll never be able to find the key

Everyone always says

no matter how big your dreams are

You can achieve it

But no one is telling us how

They say get good grades

Focus on your grades

And while we are focusing on our grades

they really want us to have good grades,

a personality, extracurricular activities, and creativity

But we were so focused on the one

that we forgot the many
